This 15-minute video gives a brief history of the artificial life simulation GenePool, which was based on Darwin Pond. It includes some results a collaboration between ecologist Luka Negoita, Ph.D. and GenePool creator Jeffrey Ventrella, on adding speciation, food niches, and coexistence.

like this, but then I found it: Genepool. Genepool is amazing because it really simulates how life and evolution works in a great way, I love to leave it on for hours and check back once in a while on the little swimbots to see what they are doing, when I found out they updated it and added a new upgraded version I got really excited. Genepool might be not very known right now but once people find it, they will love it, Genepool is great! Keep up the good work!
